Made in the shade is our robust, warming porter. Brewed with a classic malt bill of pale malt with roasted barley, chocolate and brown malt, crystal and Vienna malts bringing the deep inky blackness. Fermented with English ale yeast to bring some fruitiness to the party alongside notes of hot chocolate, cacao nibs, coffee and a candied plum finish. Smooth and satisfying to the last drop.
Let settle and keep cool for at least 4 hours (Preferably 12+)
Pour without venting (it will be lively)
As the flow slows, open the vent at the top - this will allow you to pour.
Close the vent and open it when you pour your beer - close it immediately after.
THIS BEER CONTAINS LIVE YEAST SO NEEDS TO BE ALLOWED TO NATURALLY SETTLE. CONSUME WITHIN 2-3 DAYS. KEEP AT (OR AS CLOSE TO) 8°C.
Our Mini Casks have an unopened shelf life of 3 months from packaging date.
