A Tribute to Grapes Ales

When traveling to get beer was an integral part of our lives, Toronto was probably our favorite destination. And if we went to Toronto, we would bring back bottles and bottles (and more bottles) of Grape Ales produced on Bloor St. Burdock has always been a model for us, at the crossroads of magnificent beers, inviting space, immense creativity and a touch of punkness.

Matt has become a good friend over time, and this collaboration was born from discussions about our shared love of grape ales. This blend, with its red fruit, peppery notes and delicate oak, is the result of marrying two beers, one aged on Gamay pomace and the other on Pinot Noir must. A summery, thirst-quenching red, just funky enough.
